'What Happened to My Paletas?'

Have you seen the new book featuring Delta Park? "What Happened to My Paletas?" tells the story of Calixto who is looking for his cart of paletas. Along the way he meets several Delta Park neighbors who help him in his quest. Designed and illustrated by local artist Armando Silva, this colorful book is something all ages can enjoy.

The Storybook Project
The Trust for Public Land is collaborating with local artist Armando Silva, the City of Greeley, and Unite for Literacy to develop a series of storybooks. The books are a part of the master plan process for Delta Park and showcase the residents and their diverse neighborhood.

The storybook project will continue taking place over the next year. It will elevate the community's voice in the renovation of Delta Park. The books double as a literacy tool to improve reading skills in the community. Local schools, libraries, and the surrounding community will distribute the storybooks for free. Unite for Literacy will also provide the books online, narrated in many languages such as English, Spanish, Somali, Arabic, and more.
