Demolition of Former City Hall Begins This Week

Demolition of Greeley’s former City Hall at 1000 10th St. is set to begin this Thursday, Aug. 20.

The City has received the required state permit to move forward with demolition. Work is expected to begin between 8 and 9 a.m. Thursday, with the largest parts of the building coming down over about five days.A round building, also known as the former city hall sits behind black demolition fencing

Demolition and removal of materials will continue for at least 20 working days. Construction fencing will remain around the site, and parking at the former City Hall will remain unavailable.
