City Council Approves Ferguson Park and The Barkyard Dog Park Name

On June 2, 2026, the Greeley City Council approved resolutions officially naming the new community park Ferguson Park and its dedicated dog park The Barkyard Dog Park. The names honor the Ferguson family's contributions to the community while reflecting the park's purpose as a welcoming space for recreation, connection and outdoor enjoyment.
