Peak View Park Playground Takes Shape

Construction of the new playground at Peak View Park is underway! Demolition began in earnest on Monday, October 5th, and already, crews are erecting several new playground features. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new playground will open in early November.

One of the central features of the 5-12 playground is the ‘360 Loop’, a climbing and slide combination play structure that is accessible and universally designed to challenge kids of all abilities. In addition to a plethora of climbing, sliding, and fun.

On the 2–5 side, the Panda statue will continue its playful, watchful gaze as a variety of play elements designed especially for young children are woven throughout the play space.

Little adventurers can explore the slide structure, test their balance on play rocks, crawl through a tunnel log, discover interactive play panels, and challenge themselves with the interactive, kid-powered game designed to keep children of all ages engaged and moving!

There will be plenty to explore, climb, crawl, balance, and play!
