Bringing Your Feedback Into Focus

Thank you to everyone who took the survey and provided input. Results from this survey will help shape the design. Here is what we heard:

Swings are the #1 request - Mentioned by dozens of respondents as the most desired addition, including baby swings and accessible swings for all abilities

Post and deck with unifying theme ranked highest among playground structures, followed by nature play with organic materials.

Age-appropriate equipment needed - There is strong demand for separate areas serving both toddlers (2-5) and older kids (6-12), with many noting the current equipment is too young-focused

Safety improvements around the pond - Multiple requests for fencing or barriers to keep small children safe near the water

Shade and Water Play features - Frequent mentions of needing sun protection over equipment and water play features, especially given Greeley's hot summers

Keep the low-to-ground, toddler-friendly elements - Many parents praised the current park's safety for young children and want that preserved alongside expanded options.

The project team will take this feedback, consider possible options with the project budget, and start drafting a design. The draft design will be shared with the public via Speak Up Greeley and the city's social media channels. The design will take place from now until winter 2025. Residents can see construction in 2026.
