Joint City-County Meeting on West Greeley Project, July 20, 2026

The Greeley City Council and the Weld County Board of Commissioners held a joint public meeting on Monday, July 20, at 11:00 a.m. This meeting was in response to the recommendation from the West Greeley Citizens’ Oversight Committee (WGCOC) to seek a new financial partner for the West Greeley project. The WGCOC is a nine-member committee of citizens who represent a wide range of viewpoints on the proposed development in West Greeley that provides guidance to City Council members.

During the meeting, city officials presented a high-level overview of the West Greeley Project and discussed potential partnership opportunities between the City of Greeley and Weld County. The aim is to explore collaboration options that will benefit both entities and further the development of this project.
