These parks will provide safe, well-designed spaces for dogs and their owners to exercise, socialize, and play. The park will be 27 acres, and 5-7 acres will be dedicated to the dog park. Community feedback consistently highlighted the need for quality dog park facilities in these areas. </div></div>

Name and Shape Greeley's Newest Park and Dog Park

The 15th Avenue Court underpass in the Farr-Hillside neighborhood plays an important role in our community, providing a vital link between the north and south sides of Greeley. It&#39;s a well-used route for students, cyclists, and pedestrians of all ages, offering a safer way to cross beneath busy U.S. 34 to avoid fast-moving traffic above.Over time, we&rsquo;ve heard from neighbors and regular users that the current tunnel doesn&rsquo;t fully meet the community&rsquo;s needs &mdash; especially when it comes to safety and appearance. In response, the City of Greeley is redesigning the underpass to make it safer, more accessible, and more enjoyable for everyone who uses it.<h3>Project Goals</h3>This upgraded underpass will:<ul><li>Provide better access for maintenance crews and emergency responders</li><li>Provide an accessible, ADA-compliant underpass route</li><li>Improve safety with enhanced lighting and security cameras</li><li>Make the space feel bright, open, and welcoming</li></ul>Our goal is to create a space that not only supports safe travel but also reflects the pride and character of Greeley. This project is about more than infrastructure&mdash; it&rsquo;s about investing in a place where people feel secure, connected, and inspired.<h3>How You Can Help</h3>We&#39;ve been meeting with community members since 2023 to develop the preliminary design needs of the project.
