May 21 Neighborhood Meeting Summary

Several people stand in front of design boards inside a school gym, pointing and providing feedback.

On May 21, we met with residents from the surrounding neighborhood to share our current design concepts for the pedestrian underpass.

From that group, we heard recurring themes:

  • Broad support for improvements to the underpass
  • Preference for a grass slope design (instead of concrete) and a natural stone wall
  • A desire for fencing that provides safety without compromising on aesthetics

Couldn't make the open house? That's ok! You can provide feedback and vote on the aesthetics of the tunnel by taking our online survey.
