16th Street Enhancement Project - Eastbound Lanes Reopen!
REMINDER: Construction may be nearing completion, but your support continues to make a big difference. As you shop for holiday gifts, dine out, or grab treats for gatherings, remember that all 16th Street businesses remain open and ready to welcome you.
The 16th Street corridor reached an exciting milestone: the eastbound lane is now open to traffic. Crews worked hard over the holiday week to open the street a couple of days in advance of the expected 11/30 opening. With both directions moving again, the project enters its final stretch as crews focus on finishing sidewalk work, walls and intersection details. Please note: some access restrictions will remain on the south side of 10th Avenue to ensure public safety.
