16th Street Light Pole Installation September 22 to 25
The 16th Street corridor is receiving its final lighting elements! Crews will install the remaining light poles along the corridor beginning September 22, with work expected to continue through September 25.
Temporary Traffic Impacts
To complete this work safely, one lane of 16th Street will be temporarily closed while crews install the light poles. Drivers should expect temporary traffic impacts in the work area and follow posted traffic-control and detour signs for the active closure.
Installation is expected to continue through September 25. Please allow a little extra travel time when moving through the corridor.
The light poles are among the final finishing touches for the 16th Street Enhancement Project. The City and partners celebrated the work done on Friday, September 18 with a ribbon cutting ceremony and Bear Bash.
