Revitalization, safety, and accessibility

The 16^th Street enhancements project is focused on 7^th Avenue to 11^th Avenue. This is a vital east-west corridor in the heart of eastern Greeley. When this project is complete, this area will be an exciting new destination for locals, students, and visitors to experience the shops and restaurants and create walkable connections to UNC.

This project is the next step in an ongoing discussion over the past several years. The community helped us create a vision and conceptual designs, and now we want your feedback to shape the final design for construction (anticipated for Fall 2023).

This corridor is part of a broad master plan for revitalization projects for the downtown Greeley landscape. This project will provide safer streets, vital connections, and help local businesses to thrive.

Businesses and property owners along the corridor will play a vital role in helping to shape the future landscape of the area. So will the public and community organizations, boards, and commissions. In support of project goals, the project team will:
