Traffic Impacts During Construction (Updated 12.2.24)

Utility Construction, Stage Two: December 2-January 6

During this time, traffic on 16th Street will be limited to one-way westbound driving between 9th and 11th Avenues. Eastbound traffic will be detoured at 11th Avenue. Street parking along the north side of 16th Street will remain open, but the southside parking spaces are closed.

Traffic on 9th and 10th Avenues will be limited to north and south travel only in this area; access to 16th Street from 9th and 10th Avenues will be closed.

Business access remains open — traffic won't get in the way of your holiday shopping and dining! Want to avoid the driving and parking hassle while you're in the area? We recommend parking outside the construction area and either walking or renting a Spin ebike/escooter to get you where you need to go for the final portion of your trip.
