Overview

The city received nearly $21 million from the American Rescue Plan Act. The federal stimulus package provides funding to help the nation recover from the economic and health effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the public’s help, the city has determined how to best invest the funding within eligible categories required by the legislation.

2. Creating Community, Quality of Life and Destinations

  • Distinctive community events
  • Investment in Natural Areas and recreational amenities
  • Youth development initiatives
  • Support for cultural amenities, programs and organizations
  • Funding for public art, art education and local artists
  • Tourism and visitor support

3. Enhancing Mobility

  • Multi-modal (bike/pedestrian) investments
