Infrastructure Project (and Big Boy) Picking Up Steam!

a person talks with another at a project information booth.Big Boy No. 4014 rolled into Greeley this afternoon, bringing plenty of steam, whistles and excitement to the 10th Street crossing near the Colorado Model Railroad Museum.

City of Greeley staff were on site with a booth to share information about the Downtown Infrastructure Improvements Project, which begins July 30. While many visitors came from out of town to see Union Pacific’s legendary steam locomotive, several Greeley residents stopped by to learn more about upcoming improvements downtown and ask questions about what to expect during construction.
