Eastern Greeley Area Plan Update at Council Work Session
Last night, we shared an update with City Council on the Eastern Greeley Area Plan. At this stage in the project, the team has been focused on outreach, analysis and early concept development. So far, we’ve met with property owners, hosted pop-up events, held a public open house and gathered input from stakeholders and a technical advisory committee.
At the same time, we’ve been reviewing existing conditions, including land use, infrastructure, transportation and environmental factors. This work is helping shape early ideas, including potential locations for future community centers.
What’s next:
- Phase II will include a community survey, additional stakeholder meetings, coordination with the Airport, Economic Development, and other agencies, and refining alternatives and concepts
- Phase III will include draft plan review, with a goal of plan adoption by Q2 2027
City Council asked a number of questions during the work session. You access the full City Council work session discussion: City Council Work Session
