Community Open House Brings Residents Together to Learn About Poudre River Trail Project

The City of Greeley recently hosted a community open house at the Poudre Learning Center to provide residents with information about the Poudre River Trail erosion stabilization project and upcoming construction activities.

The event saw a strong turnout from residents, giving the community an opportunity to speak directly with City staff, ask questions and learn more about what to expect as the project moves forward.

City staff shared information about the erosion stabilization work, upcoming trail closure and potential neighborhood impacts. The open house also included information about wildfire prevention and mitigation, as well as vegetation management in nearby natural areas.

Thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions and took the time to learn more about the project. Community feedback and questions help the City communicate clearly as work continues.

Project updates, including information about construction activities and trail impacts, will continue to be shared on this project page.
