Sunrise Survey Continues

Thank you to everyone who has shared their memories and experiences with us! We're thrilled to learn about the fascinating history of the Sunrise Neighborhood.

As our survey continues, we're excited to share some of the stories we've gathered. Here's the first one from the summer of 1943:

Circuses visited the Sunrise Neighborhood and set up on the grounds where Jefferson Junior High School now stands, at 4th Avenue between 13th and 14th Streets.

Project update:
The project timeline has been extended due to the size of the area and high number of properties being surveyed. The project will now conclude in 2026.
