A New Era for Transit in Northern Colorado

Big changes are rolling in for Greeley-Evans Transit - and we want you to join the ride!

Current services are expanding to include new mobility hubs and launch routes. That means better connections between Greeley, Evans, Garden City, and regional neighbors, like Windsor, Loveland, and Ft. Collins.

With these improvements comes the need to revamp the current transit brand. Our goal? To create a fresh, exciting identity that attracts commuters, students and residents alike. A rebrand includes more than implementing new names. You can look forward to engaging, vibrant designs and improvements to route recognition, maps, bus stops and bus wraps.

To make this rebrand a success, the City of Greeley Mobility team is partnering with Studio Six, the transit-rebranding experts. Together, we will work to create a stronger, more connected transit future for our community.

In early 2024, Greeley Mobility began a robust public engagement campaign to define the future of its services. After significant community feedback, the Mobility Development Plan was submitted to the Greeley City Council and adopted in May 2025. The sentiments expressed in this document have guided the current rebranding process, along with the rollout of exciting new services, such as the new HWY 34 transit route.

As the City anticipates the launch of the HWY 34 route in August 2026, Greeley Mobility will engage the community again to help select the name of this new line.

The Greeley Mobility team, in partnership with Studio 6, has completed the discovery phase for the Northern Colorado Regional Transit Rebrand project. This phase involved gathering quantitative and qualitative feedback from residents and regional stakeholders.

The team hosted three workshops with more than 50 participants. They also distributed an online survey through the SpeakUp project page that received 71 submissions. The feedback received from both the workshops and surveys will support the next phase of the rebrand process, including the renaming and visual identity of the regional system.

    Key Insights

Here’s what the Greeley Mobility heard from its riders, residents and regional partners during the discovery phase:

    • Maintain a sense of community through anticipated growth.
      • Transit expansion is necessary with the rate of growth in the region. What is equally important is maintaining the connection and community that defines the Northern Colorado region.
    • Transit changes should be intuitive and trustworthy.
      • Community members are looking for changes that offer simple solutions not additional complexities. Commuting should be calm, reliable and stable.
    • Individuals value transit options that provide independence.
      • People want to feel capable, independent and free to move on their own terms. When transit delivers this type of service, it becomes more than a last resort – it becomes a tool for thriving.

    Next Steps

Here’s where we are in the roadmap to launch a new regional transit brand:

    • Phase 2: Finalize Branding and Brand Production
      • Estimated completion, May 2026
    • Phase 3: Launch Regional Transit Brand
      • Estimated launch, June 2026

With your feedback, we look forward to creating a regional transit brand that encompasses the shared values of our Northern Colorado communities.
