City staff have been out in the community gathering input for the East Greeley Subarea Plan — from the LULAC Chili Contest to the Greeley Farmers’ Market and WeldWerks Brewery. More than 80 people stopped by to take the survey and share their ideas about the future of East Greeley.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to talk with us! Your feedback will help guide how this area grows and develops in the years ahead.
Haven’t shared your thoughts yet? There’s still time — take the East Greeley survey by the end of November.

We were honored to attend the September 10 Delta Park ribbon cutting event. What a beautiful, revived space for residents.
While there, we heard from many residents about what they want to see in East Greeley in the future. Over 40 surveys were completed and hundreds of dots placed on visual boards. Amazing!
Their input, and yours, will guide the city's long-range plan for the East Greeley area.
Have you taken the East Greeley survey yet? If not, now is the time. The survey is open until October 31, 2025. Click the 'Survey' tab above.

Thank you to everyone who attended the East Greeley Subarea Plan visioning session last night. We appreciate hearing all the perspectives.
If you missed it, it's ok! We will have more opportunities for you to engage with this project.
The plan is still in its early stages, and resident feedback is essential. The East Greeley Subarea Plan is not a finalized development proposal; it does not approve any specific housing, business, or infrastructure projects. Instead, it serves as a long-range planning tool that helps the City and the community to:
- Better understand current conditions and challenges
- Explore potential future land uses, transportation needs, and community amenities
- Identify ways to preserve what residents value while preparing for long-term changes
- Honor our agricultural roots and grow with intention, ensuring that we respect our heritage while meeting the needs of our evolving community
No decisions will be made in this process without public input. This is one of many meetings to come with opportunities for you to share ideas, ask questions, and raise concerns.
📋 You can take the community survey here: https://speakupgreeley.com/east-greeley-subarea-plan/surveys/subarea-east-planning-project
📅 Additional public meetings and updates will be posted on this project page, so be sure to check back.
The presentation slides in English and Spanish can be found under "Resources" section.
We understand that growth is a complex topic. That’s why we are committed to listening, providing clear information, and ensuring your voice is part of the conversation from the very beginning of this planning process. Together, we can ensure that our community thrives while honoring the values we all hold dear.
